TOUR WAQRAPUKARA FULL DAY

The Waqrapukara Fortress is an ancient archaeological site hidden in the heights of the Acomayo sky, it is a place that reminds us of those who were our ancestors and their coexistence with flora and fauna. The building stands at 4300 meters above sea level at the top of a ravine, in the district of Acos, province of Acomayo, department of Cusco.

Pick up at approximately 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., we will continue our trip to the south of Cusco for an average of 2 hours, until we reach a small town where the restaurant is located to taste our breakfast. After breakfast, we will continue our mobility for another 2 two and a half hours until the start of the walk. The walk starts from Sangarara at 3950 meters above sea level and in about an hour we will reach 4250 meters above sea level where Waqrapukara is located. Upon arrival, our guide will give us a detailed explanation of the enigmatic area, then we will have a prudent time to take pictures and enjoy the landscape. Culminating with our visit and having enjoyed ourselves, we will taste a lunch. Then we will return for an average of approximately 1 hour to the starting point of the walk to address our mobility and in four hours we will arrive in the city of Cusco.
